Mike Corbin designed and built his first customized seat for a Norton Atlas in 1968 - a bike he customized for himself. His friends were soon asking him to build seats for them, too. Soon, Corbin's talents were noticed by a Harley-Davidson dealer who ordered five of the seats - all of which he sold in the first weekend. For a few years, Mike attempted to make seats as a hobby on the side, while still running an electrical subcontracting business. It wasn't long before Mike decided to move into seat-making full time. From those humble beginnings, Corbin Saddles has become an industrial leader with a diverse range of products from riding boots to saddlebags.
Most people are familiar with Corbin motorcycles seats - they are made for virtually every brand of motorcycle in the country - however, Mike Corbin is also recognized for his advances in safety, apparel, furnishings and automobiles.
